This privacy statement explains what happens to your personal data when you visit this website (the "Site"), which belongs to and is operated by Jesse Mampaey.

Hosting and server logs. This Site is hosted on Netlify. Like any hosting provider, Netlify automatically records some information about every visit as part of running its servers, such as IP address, browser and device information, and the date and time of the request. This happens for every visitor and is necessary to deliver the Site to you; the legal basis for this is a legitimate interest in keeping the Site running securely and reliably.
No cookies or analytics. This Site does not set cookies, and it does not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts of its own.
Contacting me directly. If you email me, or message me via LinkedIn or GitHub, I receive whatever information you choose to include, such as your name, email address, and the content of your message. I use this only to respond to you. The legal basis for this is a legitimate interest in handling correspondence sent to me.
Netlify (hosting) processes the server log data described above on my behalf, as a data processor. You can read more in Netlify's own privacy policy.
The links to GitHub and LinkedIn on this Site take you to those platforms directly. Once you're there, your data is handled under their own privacy policies, not this one.
Server logs are retained by Netlify according to their own retention policy. Correspondence you send me directly is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to handle it.
